Water Guardians - Golden Frog Adornment

Frogs are the guardians of water.  
Indicators of balance. 
This piece was built around five small 24 carat gold plated frogs. These frogs are replicas of ancient beads from the Museo del Oro (Museum of Gold) In Bogota Colombia.

The beds joining these little frogs are a really interesting blue and blue – gray Jasper along with two beads of strawberry quartz.

at the back is a pull – tie closure so that the necklace is adjustable it measures 17.75 inches at the smallest and 23.75 inches at the largest.
