A gallery in the middle of nowhere obsessed with understanding optimal ways to use art in the transmission of lived emotions from one human being to another.

Truth or Consequences Contemporary
Art gallery with various artworks on the walls and tables displaying books.

We started a publishing company entitled "Agile Meteor Press" which focuses on telling unlikely stories from our community.

These books and booklike objects support our art exhibitions and allow for a durable take home way to continue to experience the art we have on view.

Autumn 2025

I sit gazing at a yellow cottonwood glowing in the dawn light as a flock of sandhill cranes flys overhead - their dinosaur sound echoing through the ancient rio grande rift canyon.

Fall is here and TorC is bustling with activity - openings, tours, performances, concerts, races, and mirth. Our little oasis community is alive and flourishing despite the chaos of the world. Art, here, persists in a continuation amidst adversity.

Community Etching Press

Our community etching press makes the equipment of printmaking and bookbinding available to artists of the southwest and beyond.

Participate

In celebration of the monsoon season which brings the desert to life and sustains it throughout the year we have installed this new art signage.

Historically our building is known as the Luchini Electric Building so we pay homage to this lineage.

Kyle was struck by lightning while Jeannie belayed him rock climbing - that dramatic and life changing moment is now memorialized on our facade.

This piece is a gift to our historic Main Street district - a welcome reminder that rebuilding our old buildings is the lighting helping to catalyze the formation of a strong and robust community.

This installation was made possible through funding from the National Main Street Backing Small Business Grant.
